Where can I see the Past winners?

To date, STAR has awarded over 3.4 million dollars in prizes with $900,000 of that being in college scholarships and non-angling participants have gathered over 10,000 five-gallon buckets of garbage. You can see the list of past winners by clicking here.

Is CCA National registration mandatory to participate in the competition?

Yes. At the time of their catch, Only members in good standing of Coastal Conservation Association, its youth organization, New Tide, who are registered for the 2024 State-wide Tournament Anglers Rodeo, are eligible to participate and win.

How long does the competition run for?

The Competition will begin at the posted sunrise on Saturday, May 24, 2025, and end at posted sunset on Monday, September 1, 2025.

Where can I Fish?

STAR boundaries are the territorial waters of the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic Ocean, and Florida Bay for the State of Florida and U.S. federal waters, from the boundary waters of the Florida/Alabama border extending seaward, eastward and then southward along the Florida gulf coast, to the waters of the Florida Keys, and then northward to the common boundary waters of the Florida/Georgia border extending seaward in the South Atlantic. All of the waters of Everglades National Park, as defined by the National Park Service, are included in the competition boundaries, as are all west and east coast bodies of water, including bays, harbors and tributaries. Fish taken outside of competition boundaries, from private impoundments or other waters not legally accessible to the general public, will not be eligible for entry. Anglers are prohibited from fishing in Bahamian, Cuban, or other non-U.S. waters.

How do I register?

Registering for 2024 CCA Florida STAR presented by Yamaha is easy.

Step 1: Click here to visit the CCA National site

Step 2: Create a Profile at CCA National if you are not a member already

Step 3: Register for the 2024 CCA Florida STAR Competition presented by Yamaha and make payments

You will be able to add your family members and setup your Username and Passwords from the CCA National website

Account Deletion Requests

Please note CCA Florida STAR app does not allow creation of user accounts. You need to be a member of Coastal Conservation Association to have access to the App.If you feel that information is incorrect or would like to have your personal information removed from the system, you may request removal by contacting us using the "Account Deletion Form" available at https://ccaflstar.com/contact/account_deletion_request or contact Coastal Conservation Association at https://www.joincca.org/contact-us/.

App Issue - Unable to Submit Entry

If you are able to fill the form but unable to Submit the Entry please check the version of you App. You need to have Version 11.94 or later. The app version can be checked from the Dashboard > Pancake Menu

Supported Platform Versions

The Mobile app should work on iPhone/iPad OS version 12 onwards as well as Android version 12, 13, 14.
